Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, or a Bachelor's plus five years in leadership of a coding team.
• Proven supervisory and organizational skills for a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of human resources policies; ability to orient, train and monitor staff.
• Thorough knowledge of revenue cycle management, including charge master, billing, coding and collections.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to analyze problems and apply solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication; ability to present reports.
• Project management skills; manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems and tools used in coding environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff management, mentoring, and performance oversight for the coding team.
• Oversee coding inventory and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Meet departmental KPI targets and drive improvements in revenue cycle metrics.
