Job summary

The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in hospital coding, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of collaborating with clinical and IT stakeholders to improve reporting and processes.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
• Leadership of a coding team, supervisory experience, hospital coding experience in an academic medical center setting, coaching, training, mentoring coders.
• Strong knowledge of HR management policies, with the ability to orient, train, coach, and monitor staff performance.
• Thorough knowledge of revenue cycle management practices and concepts, charge master, billing, coding and collection regulations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
• Interpersonal, collaborative skills to work with diverse clinical, business, technical and financial personnel.
