Job summary

Parallon is seeking a remote Coding Quality Audit Reviewer to perform internal quality assessment reviews of HSC coders, ensuring compliance with national coding guidelines and company policies to support accurate reimbursement and data integrity.

You will lead reviews across multiple HSCs, mentor staff, maintain productivity and accuracy targets, and stay current with coding standards and documentation. RHIA/RHIT/CCS credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience.
• Minimum of 3 years coding auditing/monitoring experience strongly preferred.
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coordinates and performs quality reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient coding across multiple HSCs.
• Assists staff with adherence to coding guidelines and policy.
• Demonstrates expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts.
• Participates on special reviews or projects.
• Maintains or exceeds 95% productivity standards.
• Maintains or exceeds 95% accuracy.
