Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking an Associate Auditor for Clinical Validation DRG to audit inpatient claims, focusing on coding accuracy and chart validation. This remote US role requires clinical nursing background with coding/auditing expertise and a proactive reviewer mindset.

Expect training for the first six weeks with no time off, followed by ongoing performance-based expectations and a discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Active nursing degree or RN/licensure.
• Coding certification (RHIA/RHIT or CPC/COC) required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• 2 years of clinical and/or coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and audit inpatient claims and document results.
• Utilize Cotiviti auditing systems to determine audits and generate letters.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy against defined standards.
• Identify potential new claim types for additional recoveries.
• Complete assigned projects and duties as required.
