Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a DRG Validation Auditor to work 100% remotely. The role requires extensive background in facility-based nursing or clinical documentation and inpatient coding with MS-DRG, AP-DRG, and APR-DRG knowledge.

Auditor will review records, apply ICD-10 coding standards, and generate high-quality claims for recoveries. The position emphasizes independent work, proficiency with auditing systems, and meeting production and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years with ICD-9/10CM, MS-DRG, AP-DRG, APR-DRG and broad claims billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Audit inpatient medical records and generate high-quality recoverable claims.
• Utilize client auditing systems to determine audit outcomes and draft audit letters.
• Maintain production goals set by the audit operations team.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of coding and DRG assignments.
• Identify potential additional recoveries and suggest improvement opportunities.
