Job summary

Booming Games is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to own the security of our platform—Linux hosts, containers, MongoDB data layer, and network edge. This hands-on role reports to the CTO and collaborates with the Systems and Infrastructure team to implement security protocols, tooling, vulnerability management, and incident response.

You will implement ISO 27001 controls, run audits, and collaborate with Compliance to ensure regulator readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or DevSecOps.
• Strong Linux administration and hardening skills on Debian/RHEL.
• Solid MongoDB security knowledge: authentication, TLS, RBAC, encryption.
• Experience with container security, image scanning and runtime hardening.
• Familiarity with security tooling: SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scans.
• Ability to write security runbooks and incident response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own security protocols and runbooks across production, staging and development.
• Define hardening baselines for Linux hosts, containers and databases.
• Maintain patching, access provisioning, rotation of keys/certificates, backups.
• Translate ISO 27001 controls into concrete configurations and evidence.
• Review security changes to infrastructure before production.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reporting.
