Job summary

BinaryBees Business Solutions LLC is seeking an Information Security Engineer focused on Security Automation and Response. This fully remote Direct Hire role requires US citizenship or a Green Card and hands-on SOAR playbook development with AI-driven security workflows to streamline incident response.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security, strong IT/network knowledge, and skills in Python or PowerShell. You will work with SIEMs, contribute to IR processes, and help enhance SOC capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of security experience or equivalent training/education.
• Solid knowledge of computing systems, data network communications, and network architecture.
• Hands-on SOAR playbook development experience; scripting or programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain SOAR playbooks to automate repetitive security tasks using SOAR, Python, and APIs.
• Advance Security Operations capabilities through AI-driven initiatives with the Security Operations Manager.
• Investigate malware, intrusions, unauthorized access, and data infiltration/exfiltration.
• Analyze logs, memory, disk images, and network captures to determine attack scope and impact.
• Stay current on cyber threats and best practices to enhance SOC capabilities; participate in on-call rotation.
