Job summary

S&P Global seeks a Senior Security Automation Engineer to join the Cyber Fusion Center in the United States. You will architect and implement SOAR playbooks, build secure integrations, lead automation initiatives, and deploy cloud infrastructure with IaC practices to reduce incident response times.

The role requires 5+ years in security automation, strong Python skills, and experience with SIEM/EDR, API integrations, and cloud tooling. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing security automation solutions with hands-on SOAR expertise.
• Hands-on incident response experience with automated workflows.
• Proficient in Python; experience with REST APIs and YARA.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR platforms and third-party integrations.
• Cloud infra deployment using Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop SOAR playbooks and automated workflows.
• Build secure integrations across security, IT and business platforms.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with SOC and IR teams.
• Deploy cloud-based security infrastructure with IaC practices.
• Incorporate Agentic AI/LLMs into security workflows.
• Produce executive reporting on automation metrics and ROI.
