Job summary

Canyon GBS Inc. is seeking an Information Security Engineer for a full-time remote role based in the Philippines.

You will establish and manage the company’s information security program, implement encryption, access controls, and regular audits, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and ISO27001. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of information security experience, with strong communication and remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in information security.
• Deep understanding of data protection regulations and standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the company's information security program.
• Implement security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security audits.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as SOC2 and ISO27001.
• Train staff and foster a culture of data security throughout the organization.
• Monitor emerging threats and proactively enhance security protocols.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the secure development and operation of our systems.
