Job summary

This full-time role supports remote coordination from Alexandria/Reston, with responsibilities spanning risk assessment, incident handling, and security training for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with federal security standards and risk management.
• Experience in preparing and updating authorization packages.
• Ability to analyze security controls and incidents with accuracy.
• Strong documentation and writing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSO in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing and destroying hardware are in place.
• Notify ISSO of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for compliance with the security package.
• Coordinate hardware/software changes with ISSO and AO/DAO.
