About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Information Security Officer to lead their security initiatives. This fully remote position is critical for overseeing and managing the company's information security program, ensuring the protection of all digital assets and sensitive data. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security policies and procedures, as well as responding to and mitigating security incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security program, including risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.

• Manage security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and potential threats.
• Lead the investigation and response to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and data loss.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in information security management and operations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs . Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), risk assessment, and incident response.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
