Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. The role focuses on responding to security requests from customers, identifying security risks, and supporting audits across physical sites and data systems.

The successful candidate will monitor firewalls, manage vulnerability analyses, update security policies, and collaborate on security projects while ensuring compliance with standards such as SOX, SOC, and HiTRUST. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Computer Science or related field with five years of IT experience and two years in IT security.
• Security certifications such as Security+ or GIAC/EC Council preferred.
• Strong knowledge in security concepts, practice and analysis; system and network security; authentication and security protocols; cryptography; and application security.
• Must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time; some travel internationally.
• Familiar with Checkpoint, Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls, Cisco IronPort, Trend Micro AV, Threat and Vulnerability Management, 2-factor Authentication, Access Control Systems, SIEM products, VMware products, Asset Management and Tracking, SIE.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to follow instructions and respond to management directions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security-related requests from customers regarding physical access, firewall, content filter, email security appliances and virus protection.
• Identify security risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage and audit firewall rules.
• Responsible for IEM log analysis.
• Oversee Threat and Vulnerability Management initiatives.
• Manage content filters and security policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT security issues; provide detailed follow-ups with customers.
• Participate in security projects and audits (SOX, SOC, HiTRUST).
• Evangelize security within the organization and protect customer trust.
