Job summary

Interlake Mecalux is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to grow racking and storage solutions across Utah and Idaho. This outside sales role is remote from a home office in the Salt Lake City area, with travel to customers 2-4 days per week.

You will visit dealers and end users, present solutions, create technical quotes, and negotiate orders. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, installation and service to ensure project success, and keep CIM CRM updated daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
• At least 1 year of Industrial Sales experience.
• Experience independently creating technical quotes for customers.
• Must live within one hour driving of Salt Lake City and have own car with adequate liability coverage.
• Willingness to travel locally in Utah and Idaho, visiting customers 2-4 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Visit dealers, distributors, and end users to strengthen relationships in territory.
• Present solutions, complete sales calls, and negotiate quotes and orders.
• Coordinate with internal resources to create customer quotes.
• Develop daily/weekly/monthly sales plans and forecasts.
• Update lead, quote, and order activity in CIM daily.
