The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician to support health and safety initiatives across North America.

The role is remote, with significant field exposure, travel opportunities, and collaboration with operations, engineering, and EHS professionals. The candidate will conduct IH monitoring, operate and maintain sampling equipment, evaluate hazards, and help advance enterprise-wide IH programs while pursuing advanced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• 2–5 years of IH/EHS experience in manufacturing or chemical settings.
• Experience with IH sampling equipment and OSHA exposure standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct IH monitoring: air sampling, noise, heat stress, and ventilation reviews.
• Operate and maintain IH equipment incl. gas detectors and dosimeters.
• Evaluate hazards and provide practical recommendations.
• Support respiratory protection, medical surveillance, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and assist with exposure reporting and outages.
