Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Loan Processor I to support dealer services and member funding in a remote California setting. You will handle applications, ensure compliance with BSA/AML, CIP/OFAC, and internal policies, and coordinate with dealers and internal teams to expedite funding.

The role requires accuracy and speed in a high-volume environment, with opportunities to improve processes and maintain audit readiness while delivering clear guidance to dealers and members.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent required
• 1+ years experience in a fast-paced lending environment or high-volume, customer service centric work
• Consumer loan processing experience is a plus preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date understanding of applicable state and federal laws/regulations and internal requirements (BSA/AML, CIP/OFAC) and apply them in loan fulfillment
• Manage a high volume of loan-related communications and progress multiple applications in parallel to funding
• Meet quality, productivity, and timeliness targets; document actions and outcomes
• Identify root causes of issues and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
• Coordinate with dealers, members, and internal teams to move loans to funding
• Prepare and quality-check loan documents for member signature and disbursement
