Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking an Incident Response Analyst to triage and respond to security events with minimal oversight. The role requires specialized skills in SOC support, disk/memory forensics, malware analysis, and threat hunting within a dedicated incident response team.

The position emphasizes triage, data analysis from multiple sources, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve detection and response capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth understanding of information security topics including SIEM/SOAR, incident response, TTPs and cyber threats.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work collaboratively with analysts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform security event triage and analysis using current threats and techniques.
  • Analyze large volumes of security data to identify suspicious activity.
  • Conduct network and memory forensics and postmortem analysis of traffic flows.
  • Interface with NIRT customers and stakeholders.
