Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate implementation tasks for enterprise systems; overall project management remains with Beacon’s project manager and applicable vendors.
- Ensure implementations adhere to Beacon’s defined compliance, privacy, and security standards.
- Lead market rollout activities from planning through go-live and stabilization in coordination with Beacon’s project manager and vendor partners.
- Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholder groups to document workflows, fit-gap analysis, and state-specific requirements; align configurations to Beacon’s standardized models.
- Configure system elements such as programs, services, forms, workflows, scheduling, user roles and permissions, locations, and alerts; maintain reusable configuration playbooks.
- Coordinate system integrations such as third-party applications (pharmacy, eMAR, EVV), CRM handoffs, secure file transfers, APIs, and billing feeds for eligibility, claims, and remittances.
- Manage data migration processes including mapping, data cleansing, import, and validation for key entities such as clients, staff, payers, authorizations, and historical records; obtain business sign-off.
- Plan and conduct testing activities including test case development, system and user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and go/no-go decision readiness.
- Ensure implementations comply with HIPAA, Joint Commission, LARA, HCBS, CMHAs, and other applicable standards; safeguard data quality and maintain audit trails.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including decision logs, issue logs, timelines, and weekly status reports.
- Adhere to change control processes and provide timely updates on status, risks, and issues.
- Drive go-live readiness and post-go-live stabilization, including dry runs, cutover planning, daily triage, and extended support until transition to steady state.
Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience
- Experience implementing a healthcare platform & EHR
- Building workflows and building forms
- Critical thinking skills and go-getter attitude, not timid
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Remote in TN, PA, VA, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, IL, GA, and NC
- Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in behavioral health or long term care settings
- Experience implementing IDD
- Experience with Core EHR
- Basic SQL
