Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of directly related technical experience in a professional services role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills, plus the desire to solve real-world business problems for our customers.
• Prior experience in a Java/Javascript/web technology development role.
• Highly experienced working with Java environments and understanding of Java runtime and library functionality including troubleshooting tools (Heap Dumps, Memory allocation).
• High competency in understanding Log configuration (Log4J), ability to read log files to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, AWS services and databases like SQL Server, MySQL, AWS Aurora.
• Web technologies such as XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Apache Velocity.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ, GitHub; SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jira.
• Experience and knowledge of APIs, micro services, and system integrations.
• Maintaining relationships with internal teams and partner organizations.
• Cross-functional collaboration across geographies.
• Ability to demo the packaged software system (user stories).
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
• Ability to perform peer code reviews to ensure quality.
• Able to coordinate multiple priorities and take initiative.
• AWS infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
• Customer facing technical experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance is a plus.
