The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, A.P.C. is seeking a motivated Immigration Attorney to analyze high-volume FOIA-derived immigration files remotely and determine potential relief options by reviewing histories. You will work with the Immigration Team under the Managing Immigration Attorney to deliver precise recommendations.

The role requires 3–5 years of immigration experience, strong research and analytical abilities, and effective communication in English and Spanish. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills to assess immigration documents.
• Ability to review complex legal histories and determine relief options.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal analysis of immigration files received via FOIA requests to identify potential relief and case options.
• Perform comprehensive screenings of client documents and histories to assess eligibility for immigration benefits or relief.
• Work in a high-volume environment, efficiently managing multiple case files and deadlines.
• Provide detailed recommendations for next steps in legal cases, ensuring a clear understanding of nuanced immigration issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to ensure accurate and timely file reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations across all areas of practice relevant to the firm.
• Document findings and recommendations in a clear, organized manner for internal use and client communication.
