Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking an Illumio Network Security Engineer to design, document, and implement Illumio solutions within the Directory Management Protection team. You will engage with RTX business units to assess security issues and implement firewall deployments from a policy perspective.

The role requires strong Illumio expertise with at least three years of firewall management experience and a solid networking background.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent plus 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience implementing Illumio Core in an enterprise setting.
• Strong networking and firewall knowledge; DNS/DHCP/IPAM familiarity.
• Ability to document designs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and implement an Illumio solution with DR planning.
• Develop operational procedures for Illumio security policies and troubleshoot.
• Design and enforce micro-segmentation via Illumio policies.
• Create and manage security policies to limit lateral threat movement.
• Analyze dependencies and traffic to optimize segmentation.
• Troubleshoot Illumio agent and resolve network issues.
• Ensure deployments meet regulatory requirements.
• Leverage automation with Python and REST APIs for policy deployment and reporting.
