Job summary

IBM is seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS – Java Microservices Developer for a fully remote role in the USA. The candidate will design and build scalable order management solutions spanning orchestration, inventory, and fulfillment, with strong enterprise integration focus.

The role involves developing RESTful APIs, integrating with Kafka/IBM MQ, and supporting deployment pipelines in Docker/Kubernetes within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

IBM Sterling OMS and Sterling Order Management experience.
Strong Java/J2EE and Spring Boot with microservices experience.
Experience designing REST APIs for enterprise applications.
Experience with CI/CD and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions using IBM Sterling OMS, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Develop and integrate REST APIs with enterprise applications.
Work on order management, orchestration, inventory, sourcing, and fulfillment processes.
Develop integrations using Kafka, IBM MQ, and other messaging technologies.
Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide technical solutions.
Collaborate with business, product, QA, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Support Docker/Kubernetes, cloud and CI/CD deployments.
