Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking an Investment Banking / Private Equity expert for a remote, project-based role. Expect 10–20 hours per week over 2–3 weeks.

Candidates will complete tasks similar to investment banking and private equity work, including detailed financial modeling and valuations, with exposure to real-world financial analysis. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in IB or PE and a solid understanding of financial modeling and accounting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity
• Understanding of financial modeling and accounting

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and answer financial questions
• Perform corporate valuations (DCF, LBO, APV)
• Apply complex accounting principles to real-world scenarios (NOLs, DTAs, operating leases, etc.)
• Complete investment banking and private equity style analysis
