Job summary

Everforth Apex in Madison, WI seeks an experienced IAM Solutions Architect to lead architectural design and migration of separating environments. The role focuses on practical, implementation-ready IAM solutions with strong collaboration across security, IT operations, and application teams.

You will assess current IAM, integrate AD and Entra ID, design SSO/MFA controls, and support the cutover through mock go-lives and production handover.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IAM architecture and implementation
• Hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Strong collaboration with security, network, and application teams
• Ability to produce design docs and runbooks

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess IAM architecture, identify gaps, and design implementation-ready solutions.
• Analyze AD and Entra ID configurations; design security group structures and mappings.
• Work with stakeholders to translate access needs into IAM technical solutions.
• Develop SSO, MFA, conditional access controls and lifecycle processes.
• Define IAM migration sequencing, cutover plans, and go-live support.
• Maintain IAM diagrams, documentation, risks, and communicate progress.
