Job summary

Sporty Group is seeking a Hybrid QA Engineer to own quality from requirements to release for Web and Android/iOS platforms. You will craft test plans, write and run automated tests, and help shape quality processes while collaborating across the development lifecycle.

With 3+ years of testing, you will leverage Python, Selenium/Playwright, Postman, and CI tools to improve the release pipeline. Remote-first, flexible hours, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing experience.
• Proficient in unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress/performance, and API testing.
• Experience with Web, Android, iOS, and API manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of web debugging and API testing tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman).
• Relational databases experience, preferably MySQL.
• Strong Python experience.
• Experience with REST API automation testing.
• Mobile app automation testing (Android/iOS).
• Web app automation (Selenium/Playwright).
• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Experience building and running CI systems.
• Familiarity with Jira/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Test Web and Android/iOS platforms (black/white box, integration, performance).
• Track and report product issues, provide feedback to fix.
• Create test plans, test cases, and output reports; share findings with team.
• Simulate user needs and usage scenarios.
• Participate in discussions to ensure clarity and testability.
• Create automated Web/Mobile/API tests.
• Monitor and improve automated tests for efficiency.
• Develop test frameworks and CI integrations.
• Review designs and code, provide feedback.
• Continue developing your own skills and mentor juniors.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes.
