Distinct | North America in California seeks a junior attorney to gain real litigation experience with remote and hybrid flexibility. The firm offers an in-house training program to accelerate speed-to-trial readiness and a chance to work alongside ABOTA trial attorneys.

You will take depositions and examinations under oath, handle written discovery, appear at hearings and mediations, and provide liability and damages analysis to clients and carriers. Remote options are documented in writing.

Qualifications

• JD and experience shaping case strategy and advising clients on resolution options.
• Admitted to The California Bar.
• Calm under pressure and ability to report to carriers without drama.

Responsibilities

• Taking depositions and examinations under oath.
• Propounding and responding to written discovery.
• Appearing at hearings, motions and mediations.
• Giving clients and carriers clear liability and damages analysis.
