Job summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist to perform due diligence services, including field assessments of limited property types, interviews, and independent research of local, state, and federal resources. Reporting may include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), NEPA, and Cultural Resources deliverables.

This position can be fully remote, work-from-home or hybrid from our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in environmental science, engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments of various project types.
• Perform interviews and independent research using local, state, and federal resources.
• Prepare environmental reports including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Cultural Resources deliverables.
• Conduct site reconnaissance and sampling activities.
• Compile and prepare supporting documentation such as site figures and appendices.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Travel to project sites on short notice (typically one week or less).
