Job Summary

Rivia Mind seeks a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who values clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care. As a physician-founded practice, we support meaningful psychiatric practice within a robust operational infrastructure. You will work within our multidisciplinary team of 130+ professionals, maintaining clinical autonomy while collaborating effectively.

• Balance of clinical autonomy and collaborative support
• Implement evidence-based psychopharmacology and psychotherapy tailored to patients
• Minimize administrative tasks to maximize patient interaction and professional growth
• Opportunities for supervisory or leadership roles, clinical training, and quality improvement

Responsibilities

• Patient Care (70%): Provide psychotherapy and medication management, develop treatment plans (~50 patients/week), deliver via telehealth.
• Clinical Collaboration & Development (20%): Guide peers, participate in team meetings, embody our values.
• Documentation (10%): Maintain timely, compliant clinical records.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine from an accredited school
• Completed Psychiatry residency, including rotations in primary care; additional residencies (Neurology, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN) appreciated
• Active medical license in NY, NJ, CT, FL, or MA; DEA license; Board certification in Psychiatry

Additional Skills & Attributes

• 1+ years post-residency preferred but recent grads considered
• Interest in supervisory roles
• Experience with psychotherapy modalities (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic)
• Experience in outpatient, telehealth settings
• Strong documentation, communication, and technical skills

Salary range: $220,000–$300,000, with potential quarterly bonuses. Full-time, exempt, remote/hybrid in NYC. Work hours are flexible but include at least four hours per week in evenings or weekends. No on-call required, but email response on off days may be expected.
