Job summary

Stride, Inc. through the Digital Academy of Texas (DATX) seeks a highly qualified remote High School Math Teacher. You will deliver online course content, monitor progress, and support students and parents in a virtual setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, an active state teaching license, and strong data-analytic skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Some travel for PD and testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
• Ability to work collaboratively to interpret and present data to drive instructional decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new teaching technologies and platforms.
• Experience supporting adults and students in using technology.
• Experience teaching online and/or in brick-and-mortar environments.
• Experience with online learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Augment course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under guidance from principal and coach.
• Maintain grade book, monitor student progress, and alert administrators to concerns.
• Support learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
• Travel as required—approximately 20% of the time for professional development and testing.
