Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Associate Director, HR Deal Lead to steer the people workstream across strategic bids, due diligence, employee transfer, and handover. You will collaborate with Sales, Solutioning, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Delivery, and regional HR teams to support outsourcing opportunities across the Americas and beyond.

This role reports to a Director or Senior Director and may require travel; you will lead client-facing activities, design HR solutions, review contracts, and manage

• Experience leading an HR deal workstream including end-to-end activities.
• Transformation or workforce transition experience with independent leadership.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• Experience in client-facing delivery, risk assessment and contract review.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR input into people solution design for outsourcing pursuits.
• Assess regional regulatory transfer implications and define approaches.
• Lead due diligence and translate employee data into risks and mitigation actions.
• Review provisions in contracts; present to senior stakeholders and provide guidance.
• Establish client engagement; lead town halls, due diligence, and transitions.
• Plan end-to-end employee transitions, onboarding, payroll readiness, and handover.
• Contribute to reusable tools, playbooks, and training.
