Job summary

UC OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 3 to join the Systemwide HR Compliance, Reporting and Analytics team. The role focuses on data analysis, dashboards, and policy compliance across labor relations, with strong emphasis on UCPath reporting and centralized analytics.

This remote position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience in HR data analysis, BI reporting, and systems design. SHRM/CCEP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis or HR systems.
• Experience querying data from complex databases and presenting actionable insights.
• Proficiency with UCPath data and reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular reports prioritized by risk and deadlines.
• Analyze and aggregate data from complex databases; support UCPath data needs.
• Develop data visualizations and written observations to inform leadership.
• Create system specifications and interfaces (Smartsheet) for RFIs and dashboards.
• Assist with process documentation and training for HR colleagues.
