Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Theological training or equivalent life experience/competency in ministries of the PCUSA.
• Minimum of 2 years of related disaster response/volunteer management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PDA Hosting Ministry and manage relationships with mid councils, congregations, and volunteers.
• Coordinate assessment and establishment of PDA host sites as needed.
• Provide support for host sites, including orientation, grants, and visitation.
• Develop immersive educational experiences for local cultures and contexts to raise volunteer engagement.
• Coordinate communications and prep info for work teams and collect stories/photos/videos from service trips.
• Support National Disaster Response Team activities and administrative processes.
