Job summary

Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly energetic pharmacist to join our remote pharmacy team. You will remotely service our clients' patients, performing order entry, clinical dosing, and medication therapy management to ensure continuity of care.

This PRN/on-call role involves evening, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a flexible remote setting across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy license in your state of residence.
• Willing to obtain core licenses in additional states within 12 months.
• 2–4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred.
• Ability to gain reciprocity to other states.
• Excellent communication with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification
• Physician and nursing consultations
• Clinical medication dosing services
• Review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes
• Coordinates access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
