**MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license

**MUST live in/work from a Compact US state

**Experience with end-of-life care is required

**Part-time nurses only work 6 days out of a 14-day pay period

Part-time schedule:

1. Work a minimum of 2 evening shifts weekly, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST (shift times are set, weekday flexes available)
2. Work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST

Our Hospice Triage Nurses:

• Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care, and fast-paced environments such as ED, critical care, surgical services, etc.
• Work a minimum of 1 weekday shift and every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Receive three weeks of remote paid training; schedule varies based on availability

• You can pick up additional shifts, if available, for the clients you are trained to support.
• We will provide you with a laptop and headset.
• You’re required to use your own high-speed internet.
• You’ll need a quiet, private space, free from noise and distractions, compliant with privacy/HIPAA standards.
• You’ll access EMRs for charting and use internal applications to perform your job functions.
• You MUST be able to follow instructions, read directions, and be confident with technology.
• A minimum of 30 minutes paid shift preparation is required before taking calls.
• At the end of your shift, spend 30 minutes to 2 hours completing remaining charting before clocking out.

Requirements

• MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license (states with pending or future implementation dates are not considered current compact states until the implementation date)
• You must keep your license in good standing and ensure it remains active.
  • We will cover the cost of licensure in non-compact states if needed.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is strongly preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced environments like ED, surgical services, or critical care.
• Comfort with accessing multiple technology applications for documentation during calls.
• Ability and confidence to type quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a bonus.
• Legally reside in the U.S. and be eligible to work for any employer.
• Ability to complete three weeks of remote paid training, scheduled during days and evenings.
• Availability to work every other Saturday & Sunday.
• Availability to work some holidays as required.
• Ability to handle stress and multitask during calls (minimum 5 calls/hour on weekdays, up to 8/hour on weekends).
• Ability to communicate empathically while adhering to protocols.
• Maintain CEUs as required by your state.
• Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
• Pass background and licensing checks.

Benefits

All Remote Hospice Triage RNs, once trained, earn $23/hour. Opportunities to increase your hourly rate are available. Nurses qualify for a $1 shift differential for overnight and weekend shifts. PTO accrues based on hours worked. Full-time nurses may participate in medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance plans, and all nurses can participate in our 401(k).
