**MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license

**MUST live in or work from a Compact US state

**Experience with end-of-life care is required

**Must have high-speed internet

**Must be tech-savvy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have keyboard competence

**Part-time nurses work 6 days out of a 14-day pay period

Part-time schedule:

  • Work a minimum of 2 evening shifts weekly (6p-12a CST) (shift times are set, weekday flexes)
  • Work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday (3:30p-12a CST)

Our Hospice Triage Nurses:

  • Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care, and in fast-paced environments like ED, critical care, surgical services, etc.
  • Work a minimum of 1 weekday and every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Receive three weeks of remote paid training, schedule varies based on availability

  • You can pick up additional shifts if available for the clients you are trained to support.
  • We provide a laptop and headset.
  • You need to use your own high-speed internet.
  • A quiet, private, HIPAA-compliant space is required.
  • You will access EMRs for charting and use internal applications for job functions.
  • You must follow instructions, read directions, and be confident with technology.
  • A minimum of 30 minutes paid shift prep is required before calls.
  • Spend 30 minutes to 2 hours completing charting after your shift.

Requirements

  • MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license (states with pending or future implementation are not considered current compact states until the date)
  • Maintain an active license in your home state; we cover costs for non-compact licensure if needed.
  • Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments like ED or surgical services.
  • Comfort with multiple technology applications and typing during calls.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Legally reside in the U.S. and eligible to work.
  • Complete three weeks of remote paid training, scheduled days/evenings.
  • Available to work every other Saturday and Sunday.
  • Available for some holidays.
  • Handle stress and multitask during calls (5-8 calls/hour).
  • Communicate empathically and adhere to protocols.
  • Maintain CEUs as required by your state.
  • Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
  • Pass background and licensing checks.
