We invite you to join our growing team!

• MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license
• MUST live in/work from a Compact US state
• Experience with end-of-life care is strongly preferred
• Must have high speed internet
• Must be tech savvy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have keyboard competence
• Full-time Baylor nurses only work 6 days out of a 14-day pay period

Benefits

• Baylor rates are $25 per hour + an additional $1 shift differential on Saturdays and Sundays.
• All part-time and full-time RNs are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan.
• Full-time RNs may also participate in medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental insurances.

Baylor Schedule

• Sat & Sun 4:30AM - 4PM, Mon 3:30PM - 12AM

Our Baylor Hospice Triage Nurses

• Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care, and in fast-paced environments: ED, critical care, surgical services, etc.
• Work full-time every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday based on assigned shifts
• Receive three weeks of remote paid training (schedule varies based on availability)

Role Details

• We provide a laptop and headset.
• You must have your own high-speed internet.
• A quiet, private space is required for work.
• You will access EMRs and internal applications for documentation and job functions.
• Must follow instructions, read directions, and be confident with technology.
• A minimum of 30 minutes paid shift preparation is required before calls.
• At shift end, 30 minutes to 2 hours are allocated for completing charting.

Requirements

• MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license (pending or future implementation dates are not considered current until active).
• Maintain an active license in your home state.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is strongly preferred.
• Comfort with multiple technology applications during calls.
• Ability to type quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work.
• Complete three weeks of remote paid training.
• Availability for some holidays.
• Ability to handle stress and multitask during calls (5+ calls/hour on weekdays, up to 8 on weekends).
• Communicate empathically while adhering to protocols.
• Maintain CEUs as required by your state.
• Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
• Pass background and licensing checks.
