Part-time schedule:

1. Work a minimum of 2 shifts weekly, 4:30a-10a CST (set shift times, weekday flexes)
2. Work every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, 4:30a-10a CST

Our Hospice Triage Nurses:

• Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care, and fast-paced environments like ED, critical care, or surgical services
• Work a minimum of 1 weekday shift and every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Receive three weeks of remote paid training, schedule varies based on availability

• You can pick up additional shifts if available for supported clients
• We provide a laptop and headset
• You need high-speed internet at your location
• A quiet, private space is required for work (HIPAA compliant)
• You will access EMRs for charting and use internal applications to perform your duties
• You must follow instructions, read directions, and be confident with technology
• A minimum of 30 minutes paid shift preparation is required before calls
• At the end of your shift, you will spend 30 minutes to 2 hours completing charting before clocking out

• MUST have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license (states with pending or future implementation are not considered current until active)
• Keep your home state license active; we cover non-compact licensure costs if needed
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is preferred
• Comfortable using multiple technology applications during calls
• Typing skills in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a bonus
• Reside in the U.S. and are legally eligible to work
• Complete three weeks of remote paid training (days/evenings)
• Available to work every other Saturday and Sunday
• Available for some holidays as needed
• Handle stress and multitask effectively, managing 5+ calls/hour on weekdays and up to 8/hour on weekends
• Communicate empathically with patients following protocols
• Maintain CEUs as required by your state
• Attend in-services and additional training as needed
• Pass background and nurse licensing checks

All Remote Hospice Triage RNs, once trained, earn $23/hour. Opportunities exist to increase this rate. Nurses are eligible for a $1 shift differential for overnight and weekend shifts. PTO, 401(k), and benefits like medical, dental, and vision are available depending on employment status.
