Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Hospice or Palliative Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted WA license.
• Ability to obtain a DEA with prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hospice evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized hospice plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage pain and symptom control for patient comfort.
• Provide medical guidance to patients and families.
• Serve as medical lead on the hospice team.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and quality initiatives.
• $127.55/hourly rate, variable shifts depending on coverage needs.
