Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a hands-on technical builder to design, build, and maintain interfaces connecting Artemis to labs, medical devices, and external clinical systems. You will own the lifecycle from interface build through go-live testing and stabilization.

Responsibilities include building interfaces, ensuring data integrity, implementing HL7 v2 and FHIR via Mirth Connect, configuring device interfaces, and coordinating with lab IT for testing and deployment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Mirth Connect experience or equivalent integration engines.
• Proficiency with HL7 v2.x and FHIR R4 interfaces.
• Medical device integration expertise and lab interface know-how.

Responsibilities

• Core Interface Management: Build and maintain interfaces between Artemis EHR and external systems.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity, message reliability, and interface continuity across locations.
• Engine Implementation: Design HL7 v2 / FHIR interfaces via Mirth Connect or equivalents.
• Device Configuration: Configure LIS/ASTM/DICOM interfaces for clinical devices.
• Imaging & Diagnostic Setup: Build DICOM interfaces for ultrasound and related systems.
• Lab Partner Integration: Coordinate with Lab IT for LabCorp, Quest, and others.
• Testing & Go-Live: Conduct end-to-end testing and go-live sign-offs.
• Stabilization & Triage: Monitor live interfaces and resolve post-launch issues.
