Job summary

CrowdGen by Appen invites you to join Project Lupin as an Independent Contractor. You will listen to real audio, produce verbatim transcripts with high accuracy, and label speakers for conversations with 2–8 participants. This remote, flexible role requires at least 10 hours per week.

Requirements include native-level Hindi fluency, sharp listening, and strong attention to detail. Experience in transcription or linguistics is a plus; training and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Hindi including regional accents
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail
• Experience in transcription, annotation or linguistics is a plus

Responsibilities

• Listen to real audio recordings and produce verbatim transcripts with high accuracy
• Timestamp segments with precise timing
• Label speakers in conversations with 2 to 8 participants
• Annotate non-speech elements (laughter, background noise, unintelligible audio)
