Job summary

Ohio Digital Learning School (ODLS) seeks a High School Guidance Counselor to promote student success through preventive services and a comprehensive counseling program. The role focuses on academic planning, personal/social development, and career readiness for all learners, with a standard 40+ hour work week from a home-office setup.

The counselor will coordinate ILPs, analyze data for interventions, and collaborate with teachers to support graduation and college goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in school counseling preferred.
• Three years of counseling/advisement experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and school data systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers individual and group guidance curriculum to support student development.
• Assists students with course selection and scheduling; reviews transcripts.
• Develops a four-year ILP with staff for postsecondary planning.
• Analyzes student data to design data-driven intervention plans.
• Supports testing programs and parent education; promotes college and career readiness.
• Audits schedules to ensure graduation candidacy per policies.
