Qualifications

• RN or LPN with clinical experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Data entry and/or typing experience.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Over-read medical record abstractions for HEDIS according to specifications.
• Complete the IRR/over-read tool with comments and correct errors.
• Identify and report abstraction errors and educate abstractors.
• Use software to enter data and change chase status for identified items.
• Meet with HEDIS Coordinator or QI Specialists to discuss efforts and results.
• Maintain productivity and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
