Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Consulting Director to lead healthcare provider strategy and innovation engagements. You will advise senior leaders, drive multi-workstream projects, and shape long-term growth strategies in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

You will partner with CEOs and boards, develop innovative growth models, and guide clients through market ambiguity to create lasting impact, while mentoring junior colleagues and upholding our values of simplicity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive consulting experience with top management consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level strategic engagements for healthcare providers.
• Expert-level knowledge of the healthcare provider industry across Hospital Systems, AMC, IDN, Physician practices, etc.
• Strong conceptual, strategic and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach.
• Proven ability to manage complex engagements and deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills for high-impact presentations and workshops.
• Talent development and ability to attract, coach and promote diverse talent.
• Values of simplicity, openness, integration, and mission-driven work.
• Willingness to travel weekly; US contiguous states acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagements focused on growth strategy, business model transformation, and innovation.
• Advise CEOs and boards on enterprise-level planning, partnerships, and transformation.
• Develop insights by structuring problems, formulating hypotheses, and synthesizing research.
• Deliver high-quality deliverables with clear logic and impact.
• Support business development with MDs to identify opportunities and drive revenue.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence and inclusion.
