Providence is seeking a Compliance Specialist (Privacy) to support privacy program activities across Providence St. Joseph Health and affiliates. This remote role requires handling highly sensitive information with discretion and professional judgment.

The position involves investigative research, regulatory privacy topics, and collaboration with hospitals, clinics, health plans, and PSMS. Some overnight travel and inter-facility commuting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field or equivalent
• Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting
• 3 years RIS internal audit, information security or compliance/privacy experience (preferred)
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support compliance and privacy program activities across Providence St. Joseph Health and affiliates
• Work with hospitals, clinics, SNFs, health plan, medical foundations, PSMS and other entities
• Handle highly sensitive information with discretion; perform investigations and research
• Some overnight travel and routine inter-facility commuting
