Job summary

The Molina Healthcare Internship Program offers undergraduates a hands-on opportunity to work within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. Interns handle meaningful projects, develop reporting templates in Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint, and gain insights into Molina’s culture and mission through interaction with healthcare professionals and leaders.

Candidates should be enrolled in an undergraduate program (freshman/sophomore) with a minimum GPA of 3.0, commit to a full-time, 10-week

Qualifications

Must possess clear and professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and ability to develop relationships.
Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and experience with internet research.
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to comply with HIPAA

Responsibilities

Support the Medical Business Operations team to learn how the CMO guides the clinical enterprise.
Develop reporting templates for leadership using Excel, PowerPoint or SharePoint.
Research and collect data and summarize findings for operational improvements.
Join leadership meetings, collect action items and assign tasks.
Track actions to ensure timelines for CMO initiatives are met.
