Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Provider Network Analytics team. You will work with large-scale healthcare datasets to uncover trends, measure network performance, and support data-driven strategies for provider network optimization.

The role emphasizes data quality, cross-functional collaboration, and applying AI-assisted approaches to analytics, with flexible remote/hybrid/in-office options. A strong foundation in SQL, Python, and distributed data platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Experience leveraging AI tools to support data analysis, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and stewardship principles.
• Ability to define and develop metrics, KPIs, and data models to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on large healthcare datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across sources and define data structures.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to maintain data governance and ensure high-quality assets.
• Document and track project work in systems such as DevOps.
• Identify and recommend improvements to outreach strategies and data processes.
