Moda Health in Portland, OR seeks a Healthcare Data Analyst II to analyze healthcare data, report on utilization and costs, and influence organizational decisions. This role is a full-time, work-from-home position with potential hourly classification depending on location.

The candidate will transform data from multiple sources, develop insightful reports, and present findings to stakeholders, requiring strong analytical skills and proficiency with SAS, SQL, BO, Crystal Reports and Excel.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial analysis or other data analysis role; healthcare data preferred.
• Ability to use data to influence strategy, workflows or results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, MS Access, BO, Crystal Reports or similar tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with shifting priorities.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional image.

Mansioni

• Under general supervision, performs complex research and analysis of healthcare claims, enrollment and related data to report on utilization, cost structure and quality.
• Transforms data from multiple tables, databases, and systems.
• Develops reports integrating data from multiple sources and understands data flow and limitations.
• Evaluates and presents reports on utilization, quality measures, and cost containment.
• Meets with internal customers to determine information needs for each situation.
• Generates insights to solve business problems using available data.
• Makes presentations to internal and external stakeholders about cost and utilization.
• Collaborates with Analytics team to expand capabilities and toolkits.
• May provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
• Other duties as assigned.
