Remote Call Center Representative

Customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Conduent offers plenty of growth opportunities within the healthcare team.

The pay rate is $16 per hour.

Training includes 5 weeks of classroom instruction and 2 weeks of nesting.

Successful completion of a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance is required.

Hours of operation: Monday – Sunday, 7:30am – 11:00pm EST.

Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available from day one of employment.

Paid time off is accrued after 180 days (about 6 months) of employment.

Responsibilities include navigating 6 systems and handling an average of 32 calls per day.

Responsibilities for Remote Call Center Representative:
  • Manage incoming calls regarding benefits from members, providers, and employer groups. Explain and clarify plans’ policies and procedures.
  • Attempt to resolve member or provider concerns, which may involve contacting other departments and documenting information accurately.
  • Investigate verbal complaints concerning billing, claims, or service, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Remote Call Center Representative:
  • Complete customer service assessment and typing test.
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
  • At least 1 year of call center experience preferred.
  • 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Dental, Medical, or Managed Care industries preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, accountable, and a team player.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Effective communication skills over the phone.
  • Ability to handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
  • Successful background check required.
Equipment and Workspace Requirements:
  • Company provides all equipment.
  • Home internet connection must have at least 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Must connect directly via Ethernet; satellite or wireless internet not acceptable.
  • Distraction-free and secure workspace required.
