Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative

Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Role Overview

As a Healthcare Call Center Associate (Work from Home), you will be part of a team that makes a difference in people's lives. Your responsibilities include assisting customers with questions related to prescription coverage, managing incoming calls, and navigating multiple systems to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls regarding benefits from members, providers, and employer groups.
  • Explain and clarify plans’ policies and procedures.
  • Actively listen to understand customer needs and follow up as needed.
  • Work towards one-call resolution by answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Navigate Member’s plan benefits, review policies, and use provided resources to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate verbal complaints and escalate service failures accordingly.
  • Maintain knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Successfully complete customer service assessment & typing test.
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience; 1 year of call center experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Dental, Medical, or Managed Care industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to work in a distraction-free, secure environment with reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload).
Work Environment & Equipment

All equipment is provided by Conduent. You must have a dedicated workspace free of distractions. Satellite or wireless internet is not acceptable.
