Job summary

Lucet is seeking an Appeals Coordinator to process and document appeal cases, ensuring compliance with NCQA, URAC, CMS and DOL standards from intake to resolution. You will collaborate with Appeals Specialists, customer service, and reimbursement teams while communicating with members, providers, and plans.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 1+ year of healthcare experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and healthcare appeals experience may be considered, including a high school diploma with 3+ years’ experience.
• 1+ years of healthcare appeals, claims, utilization management or related health plan experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and appeals documentation system.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, privacy, confidentiality, and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and document all aspects of appeal cases from receipt to outcome.
• Research, document, and ensure compliance with NCQA, URAC, CMS, DOL standards.
• Monitor workflows and turnaround times to support timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with Appeals Specialists, customer service, and reimbursement teams.
• Communicate effectively with members, providers, health plans, and internal stakeholders.
