RTI International in the United States seeks a Research Economist to lead and contribute to evaluation and policy research on Medicare and Medicaid. You will analyze large health care datasets, design studies, and present findings to policy and technical audiences.

Collaboration across disciplines and proposal development are key, with flexible remote/hybrid work options. The role emphasizes leadership of analytic projects, budget awareness, and high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced research

Competenze

• PhD in economics or related field with quantitative focus.
• Experience with micro-econometrics, simulation, and program evaluation.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Lead and/or contribute to quantitative research and evaluation on health policy topics.
• Specify and supervise analyses of large, complex datasets.
• Present results succinctly to diverse technical and policy audiences.
• Author technical reports, memoranda, articles, and regulations.
